HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) A 1 year old girl fell out of a two story window in Hamden on Wednesday night and two people including her mother have been charged in connection with child’s fall.The fight became physical when Demange’s mother tried to intervene and Ruff pushed her, according to police. Demange fled the home and his mother called police.However, moments later, a relative of Demange told police that they heard a “thud” sound outside of the home. When he went outside, a neighbor was holding Ruff’s daughter.The 1 year old girl was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where she is listed in stable condition, police said.During their investigation, police determined that the infant fell 21 feet and a cardboard box “may have cushioned the fall.”Demange, who was hiding in a wooded area behind the complex, and Ruff were arrested by police.Both were charged with risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct.
